sneak peek: martha stewart weddings summer issue

The new summer issue of Martha Stewart Weddings just debuted, and it's filled with beautiful new real weddings, features and hundreds of ways to DIY and design your day!

One of our favorite stories in the issue that really hits the spot (literally!) is all about dots. With fun ideas such a photo booth backdrop, a flocked tulle petticoat for the littlest attendants, a cheeky invitation suite, fun table décor, delightful chocolate favors and the sweetest cakes around...you'll be seeing stylish spots everywhere.

We love this flower girl and backdrop in action, with one perfectly spotty pup wearing a tulle collar of his own.

The stylists at Martha Stewart Weddings put their DIY skills to use, making the mini cakes that were featured. Here's a behind-the-scenes of Style Director, Kate Berry, putting some final touches on the confections, that are adorned with fondant dots, pearl dragees and nonpareils that are, well, totally spot on! Be sure to pick up the new issue on newsstands or download the new iPad issue and get ready to be inspired.

sneak peek: ryan & heather's wedding

Happy Friday! We're excited to share a little peek of one of our very favorite wedding couples, Heather & Ryan Zimmerman, who are featured on the cover and inside the new issue of Washingtonian Bride + Groom magazine, on sale today.

Heather & Ryan were not only a dream to work with to plan their wedding...but most of all they are both exceptionally kind and caring people. They founded the ziMS Foundation and dedicate much of their time to the worthy cause of finding a cure for multiple sclerosis, which Ryan's mother suffers from. Their beautfiul wedding would not have been possible without the incredibly hard work of a lot of our creative partners.

The biggest thanks and admiration to Abby Jiu for their gorgeous pictures and to everyone that gave us such beautiful things to photograph and the smoothest possible day...
