Apples and pears are by far one of my favorite parts of fall - I love all of the varieties you can find at the farmers' market, and all the things you can do with them! For a wedding, don't limit them to edibles (though that's good too!) - use them for decorations and as inspiration for your invitations. I love them so much, I've even made a few inspiration boards based around them, here, here, and here.

I love the idea of candy-apple favors. It might make a mess of the kitchen, but it could be a fun way to DIY.

The apple theme is going to be incorporated in my wedding next fall. I love the idea of the place setting apples with the name tag as the leaf. Wouldn't a caramel apple dessert bar be so fun as well!

I'm getting married in June, but I'm thinking of working green apples into my decor somehow....now if I could just get the cider....

I hope to serve spiked and regular apple cider to my guests as they enter the ceremony which will be outside in late October! That should keep them warm!

Apples, pears, and fall, oh my! Fabulous ideas and pictures. Fall gives me warm fuzzies all over - exactly why I think it is such a great source from which to draw wedding inspiration!

I love the idea of a caramel apple bar instead of a candy buffet or ice cream buffet. My caterer had never heard of the idea and loved it and said she hopes to work it into some of her fall weddings.
