We just love the DC based cake designer Magpie's Cakes! Drawing on her background as a classical ballet dancer, Chef and owner Maggie LaBaugh creates confections which display symmetry, elegance, detail, and sophistication. Love the simplicity of their cakes and they truly look so graceful!

We are M-A-D about Mad Men and were excited for it's return this week! Loved this festive Derby Party held under a big tent, with kelly green and white stripped curtains.
Red roses, chains of green vines and preppy arrangements set the tone for this fun party which would easily be translated to a stunning reception. Why not make a statement with some of the elements from Mad Men's sleek soiree for a fun + vintage twist?
