The last two weeks have kept us very busy bees! We thought it would be fun to share a little behind-the-scenes look at a very special holiday decorating project we were flattered to be a part of, decorating the White House for the holidays.
With several other talented designers from around the country + over 100 hundred specially selected volunteers from almost every state...the whirlwind week of prepping and decorarting started the day after Thanksgiving and ended with the reveal by Michelle Obama to the press of this year's theme "Shine, Give, Share", which offers an opportunity to pay tribute to our troops, veterans, and their families throughout the White House.
We had the fun task of decorating the entrance hall and grand foyer...which included four large trees, eight 50 ft garlands...and hanging over 400 snowflake crystal ornaments, one-by-one from the ceiling. Take a look...
Be sure to tune in to HGTV Sunday, Dec. 11 at 8pm EST for a very special look inside the White House holiday decorating process...and be sure to look up...you might just see us! :)
