We're wishing a huge congrats to our dear friend Amy Atlas for the launch of her book, Sweet Designs: Bake It, Craft It, Style It, available next Tuesday, April 24th! It's a must have for any event and detail lover full of 373 pages of gorgeous pictures + projects!

We are extra in love with the "Honey I Love You" feature on page 163...bursting with sweet honey, bees and hive inspiration...like these beautiful cakes...

sneak peek: martha stewart weddings spring issue

With unseasonably warm weather here in DC, it seems so fitting to give a sneak peek of the beautiful + bright new Spring issue of Martha Stewart Weddings today.

The spring issue is the color issue and it's chock-full of ideas for incorporating different palettes into your big day. The new issues goes retro and and revisits five classic cake flavors...putting a modern spin on them.

We love this red velvet ombre stunner on the opener by the very talented Francina Stewart of One Girl Cookies.  The other nostalgic confections "in the mix" are: creamsicle, grasshopper, pineapple upside-down cake and coconut-cream...truly love at first sight + bite!
