Vote for Ike

We are so excited to share this birthday party! We gave a sneak peek at the birthday invitations a few weeks ago here. Ike is the precious son of the talented Suann from Simplesong Design and Ritzy Bee Events was honored to help him celebrate his 3rd birthday party. With an appropriately themed "I Like Ike" birthday party...the campaign + patriotic theme with lots of red, white + blue...was pure inspiration and we had so much fun with all of the details! The fun day was captured by our dear friend + amazing photographer Kate Headley...

The amazing cake was designed by the fabulous Kelly from Design Cuisine and their talented chef's made it taste as delicious as it looked!

All of the adorable letterpress paper goods, bags, tags and printed details were created by Simplesong Design and tied together so perfectly! The campaign leaders {parents + adults} enjoyed a delicious brown boxed lunch and the little voters enjoyed star shaped sandwiches, veggies + dip and of course an Ike "button" sugar cookie from Design Cuisine.

Kate Headley created an adorable mini photo booth for party goers to enjoy posing...

We love how the acorn can be a seasonal accessory and decor detail that is minimal and cheap! Consider filling a tall glass vase full of them as a centerpiece option or as a motif on wedding paper goods...

The couple who met in Vietnam...currently live in Ireland...and are getting married here in DC. They are two of the most well traveled people we know and we can't wait for their vintage travel inspired wedding in a few weeks...
