Hey everyone! I'm Emily and I run the wedding blog and {used} wedding dress listing site, Once Wed. I am an avid reader of {ritzy bee} and very excited that Maria has allowed me to feature some of my favorite vendors I saw this past weekend at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn.
This was my first time attending Renegade and I am very glad I was able to squeeze it into the last day of my trip before heading back home to Atlanta. The whole time there I literally had the biggest smile on my face because of the excitement running through me to be in an environment filled with so much inspiration and creativity. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to finally meet and put a face with the many vendors that I admire and whose work I often feature on my blog. There were so many talented people presenting at the fair that it was really tough to narrow it down, but because Maria and I both love weddings I thought I would stick to that theme for the feature below...click images to enlarge
If you've been reading wedding blogs for a while than you are probably already familiar with Erin and Nicole of the incredible Bird and Banner. They create the most beautiful custom wedding invitations and incorporate so many different mediums into their invitations. This spring they decided to venture out into ready-made products with printed vintage hankies and adorable cards that where beautifully displayed from their booth at Renegade. Erin also mentioned that their work will be in the next Martha Stewart Weddings, so be on the lookout for their work in the upcoming summer issue.
I'd never heard of Twee before this weekend at Renegade, but I'm so glad I didn't miss their booth! Readers are always asking me for unique gift ideas for the groomsmen and grooms, and Twee has a fabulously original answer. The rustic and original wood pieces above are quite different from the typical metal cuff link, but still have a very classic appeal to them.
I fell head over heels for Lauren Alane's booth this past weekend. I challenge anyone to walk past her booth without perusing her adorable, needle felted birds displayed so perfectly on their little stands. Not only was Lauren incredibly sweet in person, but her birds are even more adorable in real life than in pictures. Lauren's also creates custom wedding cake topper's, so if you are interested you can check out her blog for more information and images of her previous work.
Rachel of Pistachio Press shared a booth with Shanna Murray and their work complemented each other nicely. Rachel had some of her lovely and fun letterpress cards displayed beautifully on wire racks and wooden crates with adorable flag banners hanging above. She also creates custom wedding invitations out of her Etsy store.
Even though Shanna Murray's work isn't necessarily wedding related, I couldn't resist posting a few images here on {ritzy bee}. Every piece in her booth was extraordinary, but a few that stood out in my mind were her wood plaques hanging by velvet ribbons, cotton children jumpers, and spindle cards that rolled out to say "you are loved".
Sadly, I had to zip in and out of the fair to catch my flight back home and couldn't spend as much walking around and taking pictures as I would have liked, so here is a short list of other vendors that should not be missed: Sesame Letterpress, Ink and Wit, Moontree Letterpress, Somethings Hiding In Here, Nervous System, Erica Weiner Jewelry
Before I go...I wanted to offer the readers at {ritzy bee} an opportunity to win this sweet little guy I picked up at Renegade. His name is Morris and he is one of Lauren Alane's adorable creations...and he needs a good home!
Just leave a comment below {and your email where asked}. We will draw one winner at random for Morris on Thursday (6/19) morning. Only one entry per email address, please.
You won't want to miss our second feature today so be sure to stop back by again later!
So cute! Pick me!

Morris is so cute! He has the best eyes! I love the wooden cufflink idea. Woodsy or garden style weddings are so big right now and those seem to fit right in.
