the great pumpkin carve
Even if you are not a fan of dressing up on Halloween, carving a pumpkin can get you quickly into the spirit! We love pumpkin carving parties where you can invite over friends, serve up some pumpkin ale or other seasonal beer, some festive appetizers and have a contest for who carves the most original pumpkin!

the card society
Skimming the October 2008 issue of Domino Magazine, we found another papergood{ness} to obsess over! The talented folks at Port2Port Press who offer a fun card-of-the-month club...
The Card Society allows members to receive two individually designed letterpress cards each month. Cards are one-of-a-kind, never to be repeated and they are not sold anywhere else.

squash it
A dedicated post to our second favorite fall food {next to the pumpkin} might seem a little silly...but we LOVE all things created with butternut squash...definitely a must have on an autumn dinner menu...especially for a wedding taking place in cooler areas...
