A few fun things to post today as part of our little series with Kate Headley on how you can add little vintage touches to your wedding or event!
First up...we love the casual look of vintage napkins lined up along a table like the ones shown here from Country Living. Easy, colorful and inexpensive!
Kate's Tip: Napkins {and other retro linens} with the "Vera" name printed in cursive on the border of the napkin are considered the most collectible and stylish. Hit thrift shops for 50 cents deals, but look often because they are real gems to find. Check out antique stores for more selection.
On our latest vintage shopping trip we fell in love with this little set-up...how fun are these old bistro chairs and folding tables for little cafe seating arrangements? They would be so adorable for a wedding cocktail hour and are a great break from typical high cocktail rounds!
Though roses, orchids and calla lilies can be beautiful, for a more rustic feel ask your florist to help you create something more organic {and timeless} in nature. This farmer's market inspired bouquet designed by Holly Chapple Flowers was made almost entirely of things growing around her property...LOVE the baby apples incorporated!
