Ever since they launched, we've been head-over-heels for BHLDN and their curated collection of all things pretty! From dresses...to decor...every piece is practically perfect in every way! We took a moment to chat with the creative folks about some of their favorite things...
RB: BHLDN’s become so much more than wedding attire…your decor, tabletop and paper good selections are incredible…what are some favorites + why?
BHLDN: When it comes to making your day perfect, it’s all about choosing pieces that truly represent Y-O-U! My favorite pieces are ones that add personality to your event. Whether it be something as simple as our Fondest Memory Coaster at every place setting for guests to share memories you’ve had together or our Jabot Frame to hold a photo of family weddings, it’s all about making the event feel like home! I also am always a sucker for pieces that add a touch of sparkle and shine! Our Suspended Sparks Serving Set is absolutely charming and completely food safe, creating a really unique look!
RB: What do you think we’ll be seeing lots more of in 2013/2014 bridal attire trends?
BHLDN: The bridal market is slowly growing to accept more trends and let brides create looks that really highlight their personal style. I think there are hints of neon, lots of shimmer and plenty of movement away from tradition and embracing perhaps a wedding dress in a hue other than ivory – like a gorgeous light pink, or bridesmaids dresses that are mix and match!
RB: We are obsessed with re-pinning BHLDN’s pins on Pinterest—which boards should a newly engaged gal pay special attention to for inspiration?
BHLDN: The wonderful thing about the BHLDN pinterest is it really breaks it down so you can narrow in on the inspiration that is perfect for you. If you’re inspired by weddings of the past, “Nuptials from Yesteryear” is the perfect place to start. Looking to add some unique details to your day? “A Touch of Whimsy” is the perfect place to poke around and find pieces that are quirky and fun!
RB: Your lovely company
seems so good at staying on trend without being too forced – what “buzz words”
do you use to describe your company’s style?
BHLDN: We tend to gravitate towards pieces that are unique and that a bride can make her own, therefore I’d say some words that could describe us are: unexpected details, inspired, with personal touch, edited, heirloom, artisanal, thoughtful, curious and sentimental.
RB: Your best friend just told you she’s getting married – what currently in your shop do you put her in?
BHLDN: One of my best friends is getting married and the first dress I had her in, and subsequently the dress she fell for, was our Eyelet Medley Sheath. She’s having a gorgeous outdoor wedding this summer and this dress is the perfect mix of classic yet casual, but still has the detailing and silhouette to make it one of a kind and truly stunning! Even though my friend is a bit of a tom-boy, I was able to talk her into adding a touch of sparkle in her shoes with our Radiant Sandals, the perfect solution for a girl who doesn’t quite love a higher heel. To finish off the look, we chose a subtle blusher veil – our Line-of-Sight Bandeau Veil and our shimmering Noble Lineage Bracelet to pull it all together! Overall, I think she has the perfect amount of glamorous for her backyard fete!
I'm also a fan of bhldn which has great collections of pretty things.

I've seen a lot of brides wearing sandals as their wedding shoe. Especially outdoor weddings. I think it is a cute trend.
